About this Guide
There are usually several ways to access the various functions available in Website Submission Shareware. In the following Quick Start Guide we may list some or all of them for each function. Please be aware that each menu item has a corresponding toolbar button, as well as can be accessed by the context menu which is popped up by right-clicking.
We strongly recommend that you first read the ReadMe file that accompanies this distribution. It offers a good overview and understanding of how the program works, while this document goes into greater detail regarding the mechanics of getting started.
First-Time Usage Instructions
- Start Website Submission Shareware (Website_Submission_Shareware.exe)
- Sarech Shareware download sites
- Add a software
- Shareware Submitting
If you accepted the default installation steps the program will have it's own folder (Website Submission Shareware) in your Start menu under Programs. If not, you can create your own shortcut to the program on your desktop by locating it using Windows Explorer, e.g. C:\Program Files\Website Submission Shareware\Website_Submission_Shareware.exe. Right click on the file and select Send To/Desktop (create shortcut).
If you have already submitted to some of these sites you will want to make sure you update the database with the proper information. One thing you need to be careful of is not submitting too frequently to a site that may result in your being banned forever from that site.
Once you have arrived at the submission page Website Submission Shareware will not fill in all possible fields for you, you should click on the buttons, e.g. "XML" button to copy pad URL (e.g. http://www.yourhome.com/pad.xml) to clipboard, then paste it to the form field manually.
